All our club events are scored on a computer. The Committee has twice discussed the purchase of electronic scoring pads which, one per table, replace paper travellers and allow instantaneous (and more accurate) results at the end of play. There are at least two makes of scoring pads, but the cost is similar - about £100 per table - and we would need 15 altogether.

Do you have any experience of using these scoring pads? Do you have any views on whether or not the club should buy them?
